How to manage the transition from a financial to an integrated report? An integrated report, combining financial and non-financial data would boost the company’s competitive advantage, the CEO believed. Investigating to what extent this view was shared and supported, we used the ‘Accelerator’ to make a map of beliefs, judgements and prejudices around sustainability. This was a pragmatic and thorough method to prioritize the key challenges that would help or hinder this ambition. By introducing performance related targets for all managing partners involved in the process, the CEO’s ambition was achieved within one year.
